Proven Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform
LongJump's multitenant SaaS architecture enables the manageability of providing ongoing code updates while still segmenting all clients on a single database. Within LongJump, each client account is virtually partitioned so that its data and configuration for each client organization operates on its customized virtual application instance. The result is that while the backbone remains the same, every account (and to some extent every user), can have their own personalized experience. Multitenancy also provides support for independent workflow, data model extensibility, and access control.
Industry Standard Stack
The LongJump platform is built using standard and open source web technologies and is written in Java and HTML. The backend database utilizes MySQL over a proprietary JDBC application and service layer. All requests and responses to the system utilize HTTPS, REST, or SOAP as transport. The policy, data, and session engines are all web-based.

Business-Oriented Relational Data Model
LongJump's on-demand SaaS platform is built using a metadata-rich relational model of definable objects that is designed to articulate real business entities (customers, contracts, computers, for example). Each object, which can be defined using the web-based visual designer, has key descriptive attributes that form its structure and relationships to other objects.
