LongJump Database-as-a-Service (DaaS) is built on a common framework that enables simple connection by other software services. The LongJump Native Browser Interface also provides a complete user interface to manage and work with the data.

Building a database application backend for your website and business should be as easy as signing up for a phone plan. Now it is.

  • Effortless – No servers to provision. No redundant systems to worry about. No hosting providers to audition. No back-ups. Never have to rack-mount a piece of hardware or run a patch to your database backend again. Just sign-up, set up your data structure and permissions, connect your web services, and go!
  • Powerful – Granular access controls ensure secured information. Custom data validation ensures accurate information. Actionable data policies ensure automated best practices. And a no-nonsense, drag-and-drop interface lets you create and edit databases in seconds.
  • Integrated – This is a database that works not just with your data, but with your business – where your data relates to tasks, calendars, email, and people. LongJump works with all areas of your business to provide a centralized collaboration platform for information and application sharing.

LongJump’s DaaS provides a complete environment for hosting a database that’s highly secure and web-enabled while simultaneously cutting the costs and easing the hassles for entrepreneurs and developers who would otherwise have to purchase a database server, provision it, address data access and availability issues, manage backup and replication issues, and tackle security and data protection.

Complete Business Application Platform

When data is loaded into LongJump, it is accessible to team members via a web-browser. Alternatively, web developers can build integrated data-driven websites without managing a database infrastructure by using a REST-based, XML API that provides flexibility to add, delete, search, update, and view data within the database and is compatible with multiple developer programming languages. LongJump’s API also supports both Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) message responses over HTTP/HTTPS and custom Java-bean scripting within its built-in data policy engine.

You can find more information on the API here.
